Another close-crop using Picture Perfect. Taken on my birthday, where I went for lunch as I hadn’t been there for over a year, and to let you know that I do get out and about and not just photograph plants, abstracts and desserts! This is my favourite home-cooking Italian bistro and it was a-buzz, as usual, one of the many reasons I like it so much, along with the very noisy Italian waiters, who can be quite cruel re the customers! And, yes, my meal went down very well — Veal scaloppini vino bianco with vegetables and a glass of red. I had dessert over the road at Brunetti’s, also yum, thank you. Below are some other versions using this post’s original:
If I were being really generous, I’d overlook the fact that the original is a bit ‘soft’, but I like this monochromatic pic, using Sketch Camera’s Marble effect, and say that it ‘could be’ a soft charcoal image that also has some pencil-sketching therein, which is quite obvious, and which surprised me as it normally doesn’t do that. Below is the Hipster version, which is my fave. Soft watercolour, perhaps?!
Which one do you like? Oh, and I’ve just noticed that all the people in this pic are female, along with one lone male — can you see him?
